Terms of Use

These terms govern use of McDonald County Court Docket. Visiting a page, following a resource link, or using a search tool means the visitor accepts these conditions. A visitor who does not accept them should not use the site.

NO FCRA USE. McDonald County Court Docket is privately owned and is not connected to a government agency or court. It is not a consumer reporting agency or a private investigation firm. This site and any advertising partner service are not for credit, employment, tenant-screening, insurance, or another purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

1. What This Website Is

McDonald County Court Docket is a private reference website. It does not store official dockets or court files and cannot retrieve a record, file a document, or change a court date for a visitor. The official county court-file custodian is the McDonald County Circuit Clerk for the Circuit Court of the 40th Judicial Circuit.

The site explains how to reach sources that maintain McDonald County court information, including the Circuit Clerk, Missouri Case.net, and municipal access contacts. Municipal ordinance matters are part of Missouri’s circuit-court framework under RSMo §479.010 and Rule 37 Appendix A. Missouri statewide eFiling and the Judicial Information System are filing and court-information systems, not services this site operates or controls.

2. Informational Use Only

The material here is general information, not an official docket, court order, or attorney advice. Missouri court access is governed by record-specific rules, including Court Operating Rule 4, which provides a statewide public-access framework while also protecting confidential categories. Verify any matter that affects a case with the court or clerk maintaining the official record.

3. Rules for Using This Site

By using this site, the visitor agrees not to do the following.

  • Violate a federal, Missouri, or local law.
  • Use site information to stalk, harass, or threaten another person.
  • Use site information for a credit, employment, tenant-screening, or insurance decision.
  • Attempt to enter systems or data that are not authorized for public access.
  • Run automated scraping, bot, or disruptive activity against the site.
  • Interfere with other visitors’ ability to use the site.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

McDonald County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Neither this site nor any advertising partner service is offered for credit decisions, employment screening, tenant screening, insurance eligibility, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or another FCRA-regulated purpose. A visitor agrees not to use this site or a linked tool for any of those purposes.

Where a use requires an FCRA-compliant consumer report, the visitor must use a provider authorized to furnish that kind of report.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. It may describe how public court dockets and records are commonly reached in McDonald County, but it cannot explain how a filing, charge, judgment, deadline, or court rule applies to an individual. A visitor needing advice should consult a licensed Missouri attorney.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Information is provided as is. McDonald County Court Docket does not guarantee that the content, service availability, technical operation, or third-party search results will always be accurate, complete, current, secure, or uninterrupted.

Court information changes as cases are filed, settings move, matters are sealed or expunged, and orders are entered or amended. Under Court Operating Rule 4, a searchable case and a remotely available document are not necessarily the same thing. Copy costs can also vary by request, with RSMo §610.026 supplying Missouri’s general paper-copy and clerical-cost framework. Confirm current availability, fees, and dates with the record custodian before relying on them.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

This site links to court, clerk, legal-aid, and other third-party resources, including Missouri Case.net. External services control their own availability, content, privacy practices, prices, and terms. McDonald County Court Docket is not responsible for any external website or service.

8. Intellectual Property

The text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to McDonald County Court Docket or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used to create derivative work without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, McDonald County Court Docket is not liable for damages arising from use of this site, its content, or a linked service, including decisions based on information obtained through them.

10. Indemnification

The visitor agrees to indemnify and hold this site harmless from claims, actions, demands, costs, and legal fees arising from the visitor’s use of the site or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Missouri. Any dispute related to the use of this site must be brought in courts located within Missouri, subject to applicable jurisdiction and venue rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A posted revision takes effect when it appears on this page.
